Contributing Photos

How do I contribute to StockSnap?

You can submit photos here. Before submitting, you'll need an active StockSnap account and you must specify your full name and website (or social media profile).

What are your submission guidelines?

To increase the chances of your photo being accepted and featured, please ensure you follow these guidelines:

  • Assuming a landscape orientation, photos must be at least 1920 by 1280 pixels in size. Higher resolution is preferred.
  • Photos must be clear and of good quality (not pixelated or blurry).
  • Photos must not contain borders, graphics or text overlayed on them.
  • Photos must not contain nudity.
  • Photos must not be offensive in nature.
  • You must own the rights to the photo.

Why was my submission declined?

If your submission was declined, it means that it didn't meet our quality standards or our submission guidelines. Please look at the images that have been posted on the site to gauge what kind of quality we're looking for.

Why don't all of my approved images appear on the main site?

When one of our curators reviews your submission, they have the option of featuring the image on the main site.

Generally speaking, the nicer the image the more likely it is to be featured. Also, if you submit several images that are nearly identical, we may only feature one (or a few) of them.

Note that all of your approved images will show on your public profile.

Why can I only submit 5 images at once?

In order to keep quality standards high, we limit every new photographer to 5 submissions to start. If we like what you've submitted, we'll increase the amount of photos you can submit next time.
